As demons scheme in the shadows and angels stand guard, she must confront her deepest fears. With her marriage hanging by a thread, an abandoned child thrust into her arms, and a relentless enemy determined to destroy all she holds dear, Mara must decide: will she trust in God’s sovereignty, or will fear consume her?

Yet, in her final days, with her life at risk, will she find the courage to stand victorious?

More from Blossom

Have you ever felt like something, or someone is watching you? Have you ever experienced darkness in a fully lit room? Or wondered if a malevolent force was working against you?

We all love stories on angels and God’s love and protection, but we also have an enemy… a living, breathing adversary who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Ephesians 6:12 says: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (NKJV)

This series—The Victory Series—found me. My genre is historical romance. I was building a following, won some awards, and loved what I was doing. But as I finished up my last series, the Holy Spirit made it very clear that Mara would be my next project. From my own experiences of childhood abuse and my marriage under fire, I added enough fiction to protect real-life people and created a story that reveals the unseen spiritual world hard at work—both benevolent and malevolent forces.

We do not fight alone. In this third and final book of this series, Mara comes face-to-face with evil attacks on her children and on the very life force within her. She must choose whether to remain faithful to the end or give in to the narrative the enemy of her soul whispers to her and to us all: God does not love you or care what you are going through—He never has.

Mara’s birth to death story unfolds in a unique, riveting, and page-turning experience that will alert you to events taking place in the unseen spiritual realm.

You will be entertained, (nothing wrong with that) but you will also come away with a greater appreciation for prayer, for Christ, and for His work on the cross. You may even view the trials of life in a new encouraging way. The battle is real—but the One by our side is victorious.

Interview with Blossom

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I discovered my passion for writing later in life. Though I’d always enjoyed journaling, I worked jobs that simply paid the bills. It wasn’t until a period of forced rest due to health issues that everything shifted. One morning, after dreaming up a story idea, I woke up inspired to write the kind of novel I love to read—emotional, meaningful stories that spark curiosity and stir the soul.

What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

When I am not writing, I love to walk my dog, have lunch with a friend, or garden. My name Blossom is well chosen…I have too many flower gardens. The neighbours call me the Crazy Flower Lady. LOL

Do you base your characters on real people?

I people-watch for this very reason…to make my characters as real as possible. Most every character I write carries a piece of truth and real experience. In fiction, I tweak personalities to protect both the innocent and the not-so-innocent—as in The Victory Series. For authentic storytelling, there’s nothing better than using real-life people and experience as a template.

Where can readers find out more about you and your books?

Readers can sign up on my website https://blossomturner.com for my newsletter and receive a free book. This way if they want a sample of my writing style, they can enjoy a novella for free.

Any current or upcoming projects you’d like to tell us about?

After the launch of the final book in The Victory Series, Maranatha, The Victory Battle, on July 22, 2025, I am going to spend my time learning how to market effectively and to enjoy life a bit. Writing these three books and getting them out into the world only three months apart has been an enormous undertaking considering the fact the books are all 95,000 words plus. I have a trip planned to visit my daughter and her husband who live in Germany and my niece in Sweden. All the while my mind will be picking up new ideas, new experiences, new places in which to continue my writing. Life is never dull.
