The “Do I Have That Book?” Challenge: Christian Fiction Edition

    • I did not have a book that was exactly ten letters long, however, I did find a book in my collection that was more than ten letters long.

    • I do not own a book with two maps in it. Apparently, I don’t seem to own a book with one map in it.

    • Christy by Catherine Marshall

    In 1994, the beloved book Christy was crafted into a captivating TV show. It appeared on ABC and ran for two seasons.

  • Do you have a book written by someone who was originally famous for something else?
    • Nope

  • Do you have a book with a clock on the cover?
    • Written on the Wind by Judith Pella

    Yes, that is a clock tower in the background.

  • Do you have a poetry book?
    • Apparently not. I enjoy writing poetry, but I’ve never cared much for reading it.

  • Do you have a book with an award stamp on it?

    • I own several books that have won awards, but none have an award stamp on them. Too bad.

  • Do you have a book written by an author with the same initials as you?

    • I’ve never found another author with the initials G.H, so if anyone else knows of one I’d love to hear about them.

  • Do you have a book of short stories?
    • The Knight’s Bride by by Tracie Peterson, Dianne Christner, Pamela Griffin, Yvonne Lehman, and Jill Stengl.

    • I do not. I have some books that are close, in the high 400s, but nothing 500 pages long.

  • Do you have a book that was turned into a movie?

    • The Redemption of Sarah Cain by Beverly Lewis

    In 2007, The Redemption of Sarah Cain was adapted to film and the title changed to Saving Sarah Cain.

  • Do you have a graphic novel?
    • No.

  • Do you have a book written by two or more authors?

    • No Safe Haven by Kimberley Woodhouse and Kayla Woodhouse Whitham

      Do you have a book based on another fictional story? I have at least two series based on romance retellings of fairy tales.

      Do you have a book with a title ten letters long? Hope at Last by Elizabeth Maddrey

      Do you have a book with a title that starts and ends with the same letter? I just read an ARC yesterday or the day before for Me and the Sweet Snowstorm by Jessie Gussman

      Do you have a mass market paperback book? Frankenstein and probably a few others

      Do you have a book written by an author using a pen name? Many— Liz Isaacson and Alexa Verde, I can name without even lookin at my book list.

      Do you have a book with a character’s name in the title? Oh I just read Falling for Grace by Janet W. Ferguson

      Do you have a book with two maps in it? The Hobbit

      Do you have a book that was turned into a TV show? I have the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and The Dresden Series by Jim Butcher

      Do you have a book written by an author with the same initials as you? The Rose and The Thorn by Mischelle Creager (I have others but I’ve not read them)

      Do you have a book of short stories? close to 500!… the last I read was an ARC for Always a Wedding Planner by RL Ashly, Leeann Betts, Toni Shiloh, & Davalynn Spencer

      Do you have a book written by two or more authors? Jo Noelle, is a two person writing team; I have 4 or5 of their books. Jennifer Youngblood wrote several books with a partner; I have 5 of them, mostly where she partnered with her mom.
