Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

2 Corinthians 9:11 KJV

“Which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.”

2 Corinthians 9 speaks about being a cheerful giver and ministering to others through good works. It speaks of us using the bounty that God has given us to be a blessing to someone else so that they in turn will give thanks to God.

It doesn’t have to be material things… a kind word, a gentle embrace, a lending hand… you never know how a small act of compassion could be exactly what someone needs today.

Is there someone in your life today that you could reach out to and give them cause to give thanksgiving to God? Could you be the cause of someone else’s thankful heart today?
