Top Ten Tuesday: Christian Authors of Books I’m TOO Scared to Read.

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday on Stories By Gina. Thank you for joining me for another Top Ten Tuesday with The Artsy Reader.

Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is a Halloween Freebie. I don’t celebrate Halloween, but I thought of a “scary” top ten idea, so I decided to go for it. Today, I am sharing with you the top ten Christian authors of books that I’m too scared to read. Some of them, I have actually read a book or two, but am unable to convince myself to read anything more by them. If you enjoy “scary books,” i.e. Thrillers… I do recommend all of these authors. They are wonderful writers, I’m just too chicken to actually read their books.

1). Jaime Jo Wright

2). Ted Dekker

3). Terri Blackstock

4). Frank Peretti

5). Steven James

6). Joel C. Rosenberg

7). C.C Warrens

8). Susan Sleeman

9). Nancy Mehl

10). Lynette Eason

I recently read The Curse of Misty Wayfair, and I really liked it. And this is coming from a person who doesn’t normally read thrillers (although I am a mystery buff),

It was scary in a couple of places, but not like in a terrifying or horrific way. Just sort of spooky and sends the odd shiver up the spine. I have the Reckoning at Gossamer Pond on my Kindle as well and hope to get around to it soon.

My favorite authors are among these: Jaime Jo Wright, Crystal Craig( C.C.Warrens, Lynette Eason, Terri Blackstock and Nancy Mehl! They are soooo good. I want to try Susan Sleeman, too. Don’t know about the guys. They seem really intense.
