I’ve joined my blogging friends for a new facet of my blog, called His Encouragement, inspiring scriptures shared each Thursday.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 KJV
I can’t really take credit for this one. My pastor mentioned it in our Sunday School class on Sunday, however it was so good, I wanted to share it with all of you.
Through.
That’s one of the most over-looked, yet comforting words in this passage, with the exception of the phrase “thou art with me.”
Through.
It doesn’t say “in” the valley of the shadow, it says through it. When we go through something, it means that it’s not forever. There is always something on the other side. No matter what you are going through in your life right now, you can have hope that with the Lord’s help, you will get through it.
Keep your eyes on the other end of the tunnel.
There’s something beautiful waiting on the other side.

I love this: “Keep your eyes on the other end of the tunnel”
It reminds me of when Peter gets out of the boat to walk the water to Jesus, but he takes his eye off the prize. I need to keep my eyes trained on Jesus and together we can make it through anything.
Beautiful post today!!!
