The cousin works the 11pm to 7am shift at the hotel. She lives in a basement of sorts, and when she gets home, she goes downstairs and falls asleep in her chair watching the morning news!

The Bank Job

“A couple of my old friends,” said Malachi, “were talking about the best way to break into the bank here in Rockport. They even pulled a local policeman into their conversation, and he answered some pertinent questions for them. He knew exactly what they were about to do; but the bank, of course, did not know what was about to go down, and as far as I know, still does not know the identities of these men. Last week, their plan came to fruition and brought them a massive payload. The men gave the officer a nice cut for his help.”

“Have you called the police?” Addie asked.

“I haven’t. Because none of the men have done anything wrong.”
