The Gloucester Twins

“Have I told you about my niece Lacey?” asked Mrs. Needmore.

Malachi shook his head, but Addie recalled the niece was a nanny for a couple somewhere in Gloucester.

“That’s her,” said Needmore. “She was telling me last week that the youngsters of the family had just been celebrating their birthdays. Twins, they are, a boy and a girl. Born within fifteen minutes of each other. But the younger one’s birthday came two clear days before the elder’s. Can you make sense of it?”
