For 2020, I have chosen Isiah 41:10 as my personal verse. This lead into a theme for this year’s His Encouragement posts. Each week, I will be looking at another “fear not” of the Bible. I hope that as we journey together through these verses that we all will learn a little more about trusting God and rooting out the fear in our lives.
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Daniel 10:19 KJV
I’m weak. I’m tired. I’m overwhelmed. Is that how you feel, too? I just want things to go back the way they were. Don’t you? We’ve all faced so much in the last month and a half, its easy to feel drained or drowning. This verse from Daniel caught my attention. “Fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong.” I need His strength right now and I know you do, too. Allow His Word to strengthen you for the tasks ahead. Be strong in Him.
